This poem is an example of a mirror cinquain(a type of decastitch, which is a 10 line poem).

I learned about this type of poem through the following blog.

James 1:22-25(ESV)  But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 

  For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. 

  For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. 

  But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

    1. I’m glad you liked the poem. Indeed the only way anyone is going to make it to heaven is to be a doer of the Word, first of all following God’s salvation plan by repenting of our sins, being baptized in Jesus’ name and receiving the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Once we’ve entered into the kingdom, as we continue to seek God and submit ourselves to Him, He will show us more that we can do to please Him. Thanks again for your visit and kind comments!
