Love This Quote

“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do
something. What I can do, I should do and, with the help of God, I
will do.”

  1. Good afternoon. this is a great quote. It’s easy to become discouraged by situations that seem contrary. (I have lots of experience in this) Regardless of the circumstance before us, our continual outlook should be “what can I do in Jesus name, at this moment?” He doesn’t need an army; he only needs someone to believe.

Thanks for the reflection. Blessings always in Jesus name.

Hi Timbob. It’s true. God doesn’t need a majority to bring about victory. He just needs someone who will take Him at His Word. There are many instances in Scripture where God just used one man or woman to accomplish His purpose. Truly if He has called us and we have His enabling power, He can use us to do great things. Thanks for stopping by today.

  2. And how many of us have been influenced by “one?” It is a great quote. It makes me think that my little efforts are worthwhile.

Hi Kweenmama. Yes, the little things we do can make a big difference. 🙂
