Not For Children Only

This past weekend, we had a Sunday School teacher’s training session at our church and also a children’s crusade.  The teacher training session on Saturday was fun and full of ideas on teaching, object lessons, puppets, songs and creative snack ideas.  We had a few pastors and Sunday school personnel from some of our neighboring churches that attended, and I think everyone left encouraged and with a greater excitement about ministering to children.

Sunday morning was our children’s crusade with Rev. Jason Bohannon and his wife, Jennifer. Both children and adults alike enjoyed all the fun songs, puppet shows, object lessons and Bible teaching that was presented in an anything but boring way.  It was so wonderful to see an altar full of praying children, teens and adults at the close of the service.  To get more of the scoop and see some photos, click here to check out Eva’s blog.  She is our children’s church coordinator and is doing a great job.

To God be the glory for the work He is doing in the lives of men, women and children in our community!

  1. Nice to see people praying. 🙂 .
“The reason why we obtain no more in prayer is because we expect no more. God usually answers us according to our own hearts.”
    Wishing you well
