Getting There

There have been several hold ups in my city lately.  Oh, not the kind associated with criminals and guns, these kind involve the building we’ve been renovating. On Saturday, there was a major power failure in the evening, which lasted until the wee hours of Sunday morning.  Sunday morning, a few of us met at the church for a short devotional and then a work day.  It definitely felt different for a Sunday, but we still had fun working.  Today is Wednesday, and Lord willing, the carpet is going in and we’ll be able to get the chairs that have been in our garage for months into the church.  Here are some pictures from our work day on Sunday.

Trash bags make great painting outfits!

  1. It looks like you all are working hard. I can’t imagine how excited you must be! I am praying right now that you don’t have more hold-ups. 🙂

Thanks, Becky. Your prayers are appreciated!

  2. God’ll reward every effort toward His worthy cause. You’ll have to let us know the address of the new place. Still Cornerstone Pentecostal Church?

Hi Tom. Yes, we are still Cornerstone Pentecostal Church. (at least for now)
