Going the wrong direction? God, in his goodness, allows YOU-turns. It’s called repentance.
2Peter 3:9
The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people’s conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.

I'm a pastor's wife and former homeschooling mom(both kids have graduated) that enjoys life, because Jesus Christ makes my life worth the living. I like to read, write, sing , study Spanish, spend time with family and friends and play word games like Scrabble, Boggle, Balderdash, etc. etc.

You turns. That’s good. I am going to have to show this post to my kids!
What a clever thought, and your scripture works perfectly.
Upon looking at that sign that says no U turns, that is the way the world and the devil would have it isn’t it? To take us down a dead end street with no way out and destroy us. But thank God He has made a way of escape.
Great Post – Great Scripture! Love it!
Kweenmama, it’s a lesson we can carry with us all our lives. Whether we’re young or old we can still mess up, but God can help us to turn around.
Karen, I was on the road, in a turn lane that I am in quite often on the way home that doesn’t allow u-turns, and this thought and the Scripture came to mind. I love when God does things like that.
Jolene, the devil would like to take us so far into sin that it seems there is no way out, but true repentance is our escape route.
