Friendly Peanut Butter

friendly-peanutbutter.jpg

Yesterday, as I was making my son a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I was surprised and amused to find this message written inside the jar.  I knew right away it was the handiwork of my daughter.  It kind of makes for a kinder, gentler peanut butter.  Know what I mean?  😆

  1. Ha…thanks mom…you must have had a blogging slump and got desperate for something to write about…

I just felt like posting something kind of lighthearted and funny today. Laughter is good medicine. 🙂

  2. I agree, laughter is a good medicine. I can be having a real rough day and just really feeling the pressure and overly tired and all I need is to have a real good laugh and it just seems to lighten my spirit so. Isn’t it great to have friends that we can laugh with? Better yet isn’t it great that we can laugh at ourselves? It’s nice to have someone around to bring a smile to our world even if it is in a jar of peanut butter.

  3. Tell Jen it is she who has had the “blogging slump.” And now I know what her “new intersts” are. LOL

Jen actually did a short post today. Maybe she’s coming out of her blogging slump. Perhaps she’ll start writing more messages in peanut butter jars to share with the blog world. 🙂

  4. Jen has such a great sense of humor. I imagine there is never a dull moment in your home with her there, right? 😀 I know what it’s like. My son, Kyle, is too much sometimes. But, it makes life so much more fun. Love ya!

Both my kids have a great sense of humor and keep me laughing. We’ve had many wonderful fits of laughter around the dinner table. Love you too. 🙂

  5. Mom said it was cute to see Jen’s peanut butter message. Mom likes the kinder, gentler peanut butter. Does this mean it was creamy as opposed to chunky? HAW! Oh, and by the way, Jen, HI!

Oh yes. It’s definitely creamy peanut butter.
