The Making Of Gold

The Making Of Gold

The world will seek to turn your heart cold

To crush you and pound you into its’ mold

But transformation begins to unfold

In a life, which to God, is totally sold

And the soul in which sin no longer has hold

That once was so tattered, tarnished and old

In God’s holy Word, I’m plainly told

That after the trials, it comes forth as gold!

Romans 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1Peter 1:7 (AMP)  So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.

Job 23:10  But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

  1. Wonderful poem! This made me also thing of Proverbs 17:3 The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: but the LORD trieth the hearts.
