Glorious Word

judgments righteous

pure commandments

holy precepts

failing, never

true always and tried

discerning and piercing

powerful and quick.

Psalm 119:89  For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalm 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Thank God for His Word!

  1. Thanks Ronda and Helen. I think it’s a fun challenge to pick your topic and try to say what you want to say, while making it fit into the pattern. Strange idea of fun, huh? 🙂

  2. I like that idea, Carol. The juniors are studying sonnets, and I have always wanted to try my hand at one. Maybe I will, seeing the success you have had.
