Most importantly, I’m a one God, aposotlic, tongue talking, holy rolling, born again, heaven bound believer in the liberating power of Jesus’ name! In addition to that, I’m a pastor’s wife and homeschooling mom that enjoys life, because Jesus Christ makes my life worth the living! I like to read, write, sing, spend time with family and friends and play word games like Scrabble, Boggle, Balderdash, etc. etc.

Nice Mom! What were you eating in that picture? lol

Jen,
I don’t know what it was called. It was like a pastry on the outside, but it had a meat filling on the inside. It was very good, and the Costa Rican coffee I had there was some of the best coffee I have ever had!

Sissy My Dear:
So good to be back on your beautiful blogspot and be blogging again. I missed my time on the computer, but I also enjoyed the quiet and peace.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my site today, and for the encouraging words. I’m a stay at home mom who will be starting to homeschool this fall, and will be a “Pastor’s wife” as of this Sunday, when my husband accepts a call to an area church! So…I look forward to returning to your site for wisdom and ideas to help me begin this new chapter in my life!
Many blessings,
Julie

Hey Carol,
I noticed some similarities too when I had previously visited your “about” page.
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog. I will be back to visit yours again as well!
Have a blessed day!

I stumbled onto your page while working on my Bookstore. I love to see people who love Jesus Christ and enjoy living it for Him. I’m a stay at home dad (Widowed) and just started Homeschooling this year. Thanks for the inspiration…
Dan
Hi Dan. Thanks for stopping by, and may God bless and guide you in your homeschool endeavors. Your bookstore looks very nice, and I may stop by again to check it out again when I have a little more time.

Thanks, for now it seems to be going well, but I’ve only just started. My daughter is in the second Grade, my son is in college. Sometimes I ask myself what have I got myself into, other times I’m praising the Lord she doesn’t have to go through the fiasco of Public School and all that comes with it.
Well its off to Class.
God Bless
Dan

Hi, Carol. We were thinking of you as we were contemplating a family newsletter this year- so, I searched your names and found you here. If your address is the same, we’ll send you a letter this year. We didn’t get one out last year.
Best regards,
Kenny and Becky Bellew

Hey Sissy,
Love your new header. So festive!
Do you recognize the picture? I took it in your backyard when I was there on Wednesday. By the way, I love your yard with all the Christmas decor and the waterfall. It’s like a holiday sanctuary!

Hey,
I hope it will send folks to your site. It deserves to be visited!
Just letting you know that you have been “tagged.” It’s new to me and since I am trying to learn everything about blogging I decided to try it (probably just this once). If you choose to not participate It’s okay with me, my feelings won’t be hurt!
Find the rules here:

Hi Kweenmama. Yes, I am familiar with tags. I haven’t done all of them that have come my way, but I will try to get to this one since I haven’t done one in a while. Thanks for the compliment on my blog.

Thanks for your recent comment on my blog. I’m enjoying the blogging experieince, but hope most of all to glorify God in my photos and writing. I have’nt come out boldly so far because I hope to bring in some readers who don’t know the Lord. Perhaps out of that some relationships will grow. You can pray for me on that, if you’d like. I enjoy your site. It’s fresh and down to earth. I’ll be back.

Hello, I fell onto your blog through a different one I look at. I really like the things I have read so far with yours. I don’t have a blog myself. If you don’t mind I would like to keep reading yours. It is so very nice to see someone write about the Bible and Jesus. I have only read a few blogs and have a huge problem with them talking about a higher source in life. Then they wreck it bay saying why put a name on it, and if you beleive in anything that is fine. It was nice to read yours and read the good things I have so far. Thank you for not hiding your belief in God!!! This is why I will read your blogs more often. Theresa
Hi Theresa. Welcome and thank you for your kind comments! I can’t help but talk about Jesus a lot on this blog, because He is the center of my life. Please come by often and visit and feel free to leave your comments. Who knows, you may want to start a blog after a while. I checked out the blog world for a few weeks before I started mine and then felt directed by God to jump in. It just might happen to you too.

Carol,
I was scanning some old photos (before they turn to dust), and I came across these that I thought you might like to have.

Wow, Kenny! Talk about a blast from the past. Thanks so much for sending these. It’s nice to look back and remember that we were once young and thin. LOL

Hello Carol,
I came across your blog when I was planning my own webpage about foreign languages. I hope you survived that Spanish course and moved on! God bless you and thanks for spreading the good word about Christ. When I get it established, my site will be about spreading the good word in different languages! Don’t give up on your language studies – it can take many years to get our tongues oiled and coordinated with our brains! Buenas suerte!
Henry
Hola Henry. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes, I did survive that Spanish course, and I even did some of my daughter’s Auralog Spanish on our computer, but I still have a long way to go. I’d like to take more Spanish at our community college, but I can’t find anyone to take a course with me, and I really don’t want to go by myself. Maybe a little insecurity on my part. However, thanks for your encouragement, and I do hope you’ll stop by again.
Via con Dios!

Hi! I visit your blog often and I’m blessed by your entries. I’m real glad to bump into a blog of someone who’s a proud Jesus baby. I’m starting my own blog and would like to add you in my blog friends’ list. Hope you don’t mind…
Bless you!
Hi Donna. It’s nice to meet you. I would be honored to be on your blogroll, and I will add you to mine the next time I’m on our regular computer. I’m on my husband’s laptop right now, and it’s a little bit more difficult for me to navigate. I hope you will enjoy blogging as much as I have. You just never know how God might use you to encourage someone through your writing. Blog on for Jesus!

Hi Carol!
I am looking up as many of my ABI friends as I can…what i9s on my heart is the importance of Almsgiving/good deeds….this is part of the Acts 2 message that many are quick to explain away…
take care
Spike
Spike(Mike) Harvey, it’s good to hear from you! I do believe that almsgiving/good deeds is important. It is a way to let our light shine to others. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16,
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Hope you and your family are doing well. It’s good to hear from another ABI classmate. Lori Nantz contacted me recently too.
Blessings to you,
Carol
